In spirit the of ecumenical and inter-religious activities in honor the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, the African Descent Lutheran Association national board and the Conference Team hosts the African Decent Lutheran Association’s 16th biennial meeting. The conference theme is: “Like a Rolling Steam, Let Justice Roll…Absalom, Jehu, and Beyond.”
For the first time, this gathering will be a joint partnership between the African Descent Lutheran Association (ADLA) and the Union of Black Episcopalians (UBE). Both organizations share a vital commitment to vigilance and action aimed at achieving justice for all people.
This will also be the commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the ADLA presence in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
