In observance of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, the NEOS-ELCA Medina Area Cluster is hosting “An Evening With Martin Luther” at 7 pm on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at the Medina Performing Arts Center located at 777 E. Union Street in Medina.
At this one-night performance, the Rev. Al Staggs will portray Dr. Luther providing a lecture that powerfully conveys Luther’s convictions about justification by grace, while offering insights into Luther’s character, theology and faith, all with humor and grace.
As Stagg’s portrayal of Luther critiques the greed and conspicuous consumption that the reformer witnessed in sixteenth century Germany, the audience will hear a challenge that still applies to Christians today.
