The Reformation: Catholic and Lutheran Historical Perspectives (Cincinnati, OH)

The Archdiocese of Cincinnati and ELCA Southern Ohio Synod are sponsoring ‘The Reformation: Catholic and Lutheran Historical Perspectives’ at two locations in the Cincinnati and Dayton area on October 12 and October 26 starting at 7 pm.

Oct 12: Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 7770 Beechmont Ave, Cincinnati, Ohio
Oct 26: Peace Lutheran Church, 3530 Dayton Xenia Rd, Beavercreek, Ohio

Come to either event to hear a presentation by Fr. David Endres, PhD, Dean of Mount St. Mary’s Seminary and the Athenaeum of Ohio and Dr. David Mengel, Xavier University Dean of College of Arts and Sciences and History Professor.

Dr. Mengel will highlight the historical roots of the reform. Fr. Endres will speak about the reforming movement’s impact on the Catholic Church leading up to the Council of Trent. Both will also speak to our hopes for a future of greater reconciliation and unity.
