A Reformation of Faith: Introducing Luther & the Reformation

Reformation 500 Weekend Event
April 1 and 2, 2017
King of Glory will host The Rev. Dr. Martin J. Lohrmann, Assistant Professor of Lutheran Confessions & Heritage at Wartburg Seminary, for the weekend of April 1-2. His visit will include a presentation and book signing on Saturday, April 1 and he will lead us in worship on Sunday, April 2.

Saturday, April 1 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm
“A Reformation of Faith: Introducing Luther & the Reformation” – Martin Luther’s historic reforms of the church centered on the conviction that faith in God changes lives and changes the world. In this talk, Dr. Lohrmann will examine the roots of Luther’s view of faith and how it launched a Reformation, and how Luther’s theology still speaks to us today. Book signing and reception to follow.

Sunday, April 2
8:00 am, 9:00 am and 11:15 am Worship
10:10 am Adult Education
Dr. Lohrmann will lead us in worship at all 3 services. He will also teach during the education hour in the Romans & Reformation Class leading a discussion on the topic from Romans 8:1-13, Justification assures salvation.
