Our Saviour’s Church in Chippewa Falls is holding study and discussion sessions of the reformation to commemorate it’s 499th year.
The Vatican Pontifical Council for the Promotion of Christian Unity and the Lutheran World Federation issued a Common Prayer Service that contained a 90-page study document.
The document titled “From Conflict to Communion” reviews Catholic and Lutheran history over the last 500 years.
Since the issue, a group of twelve members of churches, half Catholic and half Lutheran, from Eau Claire, Altoona and Chippewa Falls have been preparing the Common Prayer Service for churches in the Chippewa Valley.
