Reformation programs begin Sept 10 (Saegertown, OH)

Twelve Apostles Lutheran Church of Saegertown continues to celebrate the Protestant Reformation that was begun by Martin Luther almost 500 years ago when he posted the 95 theses on the door of the All Saints’ Church in Wittenberg, Germany, decrying several teachings and practices of the Roman Catholic Church.

Lutherans throughout the world and member churches of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America are celebrating their Reformation 500 through a variety of programs, speakers and special liturgies offered at their worship services.

Beginning on Sept. 10, Pastor Mark Fischer will lead Eucharist and historic liturgies.

Twelve Apostles is located at the corner of Euclid Avenue and Erie Street. The public is invited to join worship on any Sunday morning at 10:15.
