Fifty tickets are left for a special viewing of “Martin Luther: An Idea that Changed the World.”
The people of Grace Lutheran Church invite everyone to help them celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Reformation on Aug. 24 at 6:30 p.m.
The film will be shown at Cinemark Movies 8 in Paris.
Sandra Schmidt, treasurer at Grace Lutheran Church said the church still has about 50 tickets they must sell in order to offer the viewing in Paris.
Each ticket is $10 and can be bought in person at the church, by calling 972-741-5485 or online at luthermovie.link/paris.
According to lutheranreformation.com, the full-length documentary features reenactments of the 16th-century events with commentary from church history experts. Centered around Martin Luther and the Reformation, the movie was filmed in historic locations across Europe.
