Reformation Crawl (Toledo, OH)

This year marks the 500th anniversary of the protestant reformation, which was initiated by Martin Luther in 1517. The Northwestern Ohio Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America is recognizing the anniversary by organizing a “Reformation 500 Crawl” on two Saturdays, July 29 and Oct. 21, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Participants are invited to visit a series of churches and sites in the region to learn about Lutheran heritage locally and “connections to that major historical event.” Presentations at each site will touch on a wide variety of topics, including genealogy, beer brewing, and stained glass windows. A full list of sites, including addresses, is available at nwos500.org.
